Join us on an unforgettable journey through the Western Antarctic Peninsula and South Georgia. South Georgia and Antarctica Air-Cruise allows you to explore nutrient rich waters. You will be able to disembark daily for various activities, such as kayaking, hiking or snowshoeing. You'll learn about the audacious exploits of famous Antarctic explorers such as Ernest Shackleton by following their route. Explore the vast colonies of penguins, such as the king-penguin. You can also see the nesting grounds for numerous albatrosses.

Day by day

Day 1: Ushuaia

You will be greeted by the team at Ushuaia's Argentinean pier. In the afternoon, embark on the ship and sail through the Beagle Channel to South Georgia.

Day 2, 3 & 4: South Georgia
Our naturalists and historians will conduct several presentations as we head towards South Georgia. While you socialize on the ship, keep an eye out for diverse birdlife.
Day 5, 6, 7 & 8: South Georgia, Grytviken, Fortuna Bay, Salisbury Plains, Prion Island & Elsehul Bay
Day 9 & 10: Antarctic Peninsula
Day 11: Elephant Island
Day 12, 13, 14 & 15: South Shetland Islands
Day 16: King George Island
Day 17: Punta Arenas

Cruise Includes

Comprehensive material containing information before and after the journey.
Exclusive entry to Explorers House granted to Punta Arenas guests.
The provision of waterproof boots for shore excursions, charges for landings, a contingency plan, and the IAATO passenger fee.
Daily buffet-style breakfast, along with à la carte lunch and dinner options, inclusive of beverages such as wine, beer, juice, soft drinks, coffee, tea, chocolate, cappuccino, water, and onboard snacks.
Included in the package are guided shore excursions, along with onboard lectures and entertainment.

Cruise does not include

Beverages purchased at the ship’s bar.
Internet connection on board the ship.
Personal travel insurance.
Extra expenses (communication, laundry, souvenirs, etc.).
Gratuities
Visas for Chile and/or Argentina, passport expenses, and any arrival and/or departure tax, if applicable.
Accommodation, meals, excursions, and transfers other than those included in the itinerary and the Contingency Plan corresponding to each voyage. Specifically, dinner in Punta Arenas upon return from Antarctica is not included.

Air-Cruise Inclusions

  • Group transportation provided from the airport to the hotel on the first day for those arriving in Punta Arenas, and from the hotel to the airport on the final day of the air-cruise itinerary.
  • Two nights' accommodation with breakfast at the Cabo de Hornos Hotel or a similar option in Punta Arenas on the arrival day and on the scheduled return flight day from Antarctica.
  • Inclusion of both ship cruise and flight from Punta Arenas, Chile, to King George Island, Antarctica, and vice versa, as specified in the corresponding program for each air-cruise itinerary.
